It is known that all people are psychic and therefore have the potential to become mediums should they wish to develop their psychic ability to the point where sensitivity is enhanced to such a degree that a link with the spirit world can be made. Unfortunately the psychic ability in some is minimal and often gets buried under a life of materiality while others will sit in development circles and awareness classes attempting to achieve mediumship and yet never achieving this.

All people are accompanied on their lives’ journeys by spirit companions who stay with them throughout their earthly span, supporting and influencing them wherever possible. Spirit Guides, however, are connected to those who chose to develop their mediumistic potential while on earth and as that development takes place the medium will  gradually find him/herself able to become more and more aware of these spirit souls who have been linked to them since before they came to earth.

The souls, whose main concern is the development of their mediums’ ability to link to spirit vibrations, thus enabling them to receive communication and inspiration from that source, are not Angels. They are Spirit Guides, fully trained in their own particular field, for the work they will undertake with their mediums. Angels really are from other realms.

If life is eternal, and all the information received from spirit, evidences this, then there will be people dwelling in the spiritual realms who have been living so long and progressing spiritually to a degree that they are almost, but not quite, perfect. Could this be the definition of an Angel or are Angels a race set apart from that of humans? Whatever the case may be,  it appears that Angels are beings so far removed from humans that for an Angel to be allotted to one particular medium really isn’t logical when there are people (Spirit Guides) trained for this specific task.

If Angels are one step down from God, which is what mankind has been led to believe, then surely their task is overseeing all the different dimensions and levels of eternal life; levels and dimensions of which man can  have no conception while living in a physical body.

For any medium to claim that s/he is guided by an Angel effectively denigrates all those beautiful souls linked to him/her. Having said that, any medium can be forgiven for assuming a Spirit Guide is an Angel for the love, compassion and total humanity of these souls is so overwhelming mediums will often be moved to tears when they become aware of the influence of them. Any medium experiencing a vision of these Guides will be humbled by it

Spirit Guides (who are people, not animals) should be welcomed with open arms by their mediums; not as angels; not as souls to be placed on pedestals and worshipped; but as beautiful people who come in friendship and love in order to work with their mediums to bring the message of everlasting life to  people everywhere.
