Received from Jacy  after the Billingham Seminar

Blue skies and sunshine greeted us on the first morning of Rainbows End at Billingham. It was lovely to meet the new members and greet familiar faces as we sat in the small picturesque church. The atmosphere at the Billingham church is charged – you can relax and breathe in the energy, allowing it to wash over you.

We did so much during the week, I would like to share with you some highlights (blonde ones? errr no!) from some of the people who attended.

I have two highlights of the week. The first was the experimental ‘ommmh’ class with the wonderful Mike Rowlands of ‘fairy ring’ fame. Twenty or more people formed a circle linking hands. In the centre, Mike placed a futon type mattress for anyone who needed healing to lay on with their eyes shut. When we had our first victim ……errr volunteer, we all tuned in to the person, the idea being to create a sound, using our voices that was unique to the person in the centre.

Since we all vibrate at different frequencies we used intuition to decide what note we thought would be appropriate for the person. Mike started us off and everyone else joined in with a different note. It wasn’t meant to harmonise but generally did. We went with the flow and altered the note as we saw fit, creating remarkable results. The tones seemed to go around in a circle – like a Mexican wave. We sustained the varying sounds for around 5 minutes for each person without a break.

Talking to people who had been in the centre was interesting as the majority felt exceptionally relaxed and said it was an incredible experience, a very soothing, gentle energy. This practise can be used in a healing circle and has achieved beneficial results.

Upstairs the experimental part of the exercise was taking place. Mike had carefully positioned powerful microphones to record us to a degree. However, there were also spirit voices being recorded above ours. The sounds of wolves howling at one point was reported and a very high overtone that a few people described as angel voices. Overall, it was decided that there was too much background noise to judge what was spiritual and what was not. A good experiment though.

My second highlight was T+Sybil’s birthday. We had been planning this occasion for several weeks prior to the seminar and as Vi is so ‘interested’ in everything and always seems to know what’s going on it was very difficult keeping it a secret. I was so sure she knew something was being planned however; we managed to keep it all under wraps and surprise her completely with lots of things throughout the day. It was so lovely to watch her face as each present and card was revealed. Did I see a few tears there? I burnt my thumb lighting candles, nearly set the balloon (and my hair) alight, and could easily have set off the fire alarm; nevertheless, all went to plan….. A wonderful day.

I had a few highlights like my private readings and giving a psychic reading and meeting the Delphi lot lol, but my favorite part had to be the demonstration of the ' Fairy cards' with Mike Rowland. When I chose my card, I had a gut feeling he would pick it up and he did. My card was the 'Vetch', he played the most touching, emotion filled music I have ever heard, and it was even more wonderful to think that it was being given to him for me by the spirit world.

As you can imagine the emotion was extremely hard to keep in. The atmosphere plus the feeling of spirits near me was so immense my whole body was shaking; people next to me could feel it as well. The feeling I got when he played the piece was past memories, every note seemed to remind me of my childhood and growing up, then he gave the information that he'd received about his 'sitter' and it was so spot on I was gob smacked. With the emotion so high, I choked up when he asked how it was but you could tell by my face that it was brilliant. So I would like to thank Mike for that wonderful piece and I will cherish it forever.
Thank you xxxxxx

The following was received from Dennis/M+Pippin's husband

Following my 5 days at Billingham, I feel I need to express how it has affected me. Going there on the first day, I had no idea what to expect, I just went with a very open mind. The first thing that struck me was how welcome everyone made me feel, especially the organisers.

I intended to see how things went on the first day and make up my mind about the rest of the week after that. Needless to say at the end of the day there was no way I was going to miss the rest of the week, and it just seemed to get better with each day. I was so inspired, I just wanted more knowledge.

I wouldn't say I was a non-believer when we arrived, in my mind I thought there was something but just didn't know what it was. However, all I can say is I now believe implicitly in Life after death.

All I can say is the week was MAGIC. Once again, I want to thank everyone for making me so welcome,

I can't remember when I last enjoyed anything as much as the seminar at Billingham. From the word go it was filled with fun, excitement, inspiration and the most wonderful feeling of friendship and love. Everyone got on so well, by the end of the first day it was as though we had all know each other for years.

The tutors were all fantastic, imparting lots of knowledge and certainly inspiring me to want to take mediumship further. As those of you who were there know, my husband went as a complete outsider and came home wanting to become involved. The experience has made him much more positive in his outlook about life.

We are both suffering from withdrawal symptoms, especially from all the cuddles; imagine what our customers would think if we started cuddling them every time, they came into our premises rofl. Oh well, we'll just have to cuddle each other more often.

Roll on the next seminar

I had a few highlights in the week, but the main one was the trance session with Craig and seeing the face of Tara his guide and the white aura around his head and shoulders. The other was my readings in the circle on the Tuesday night.

Miss you loads

As far as I am concerned, my biggest highlight of the week was the TV Cameras filming Craig's demonstration of mediumship on Thursday evening from the rostrum at Billingham. I have never ever witnessed TV Cameras filming Psychic/Mediumship activities, so this was new ground for me personally.

Also It's great that Billingham Church (Development Class), Rainbowsend and our site members/staff were allowed to be a part of this TV documentary on Craig Hamilton Parker. If we couple this with the fact that it was Violet's Birthday, and the presentation of her unique education award, made it a magical spiritual experience for all.

It is difficult to choose a highlight of the week as there were so many memorable incidents and events. The main highlight for me was Mike Rowland’s music as every time he played, I think everyone would agree it touched the parts that other music cannot reach. It really was soul music.

Rainbows End Seminars are a bit like participating in the Spiritual Olympic Games. From the opening ceremony on Monday morning until the closing ceremony on Friday night there is always an event going on. Although they are non-competitive games, they can be compared to a series of time trials. For example there is the five minute dash to read someone’s aura, the 10 minute pursuit trial to link up with spirit and the 3 minute sprint to get an inspirational message. As with all Olympic Games on the final day there was the relay event where participants passes the baton to each other during a spiritual service, which they had practiced and prepared earlier.

This year unbeknown to even the organizers, spirit had included a new event, which made its debut at Billingham. Even the participants who were Vi (T+Sybil) and I (Hollycat) were unaware that we had been entered for the event. Although many of the events involve the participants shedding copious amounts of tears the event we had been entered for involved synchronized weeping.

This event took place on Tuesday accompanied by Mike’s beautiful music. We sat quietly listening to the music. As I did this, I became aware of a flood of emotion coursing through me and tears flowing down my cheeks. I reached for my handkerchiefs (which are essential equipment at Billingham) to wipe the tears from my eyes and continued doing this for a few moments until the emotion subsided. What I didn’t know was that I was mirroring exactly the actions of Vi who was sitting behind me.

We had both been impressed by the emotion that was emanating from one particular beautiful spirit who had moved us both to tears. Vi told me that she had become aware that my son was standing behind me telling her there was more than one Mike in the room. He told her he was so proud of me and that he was always behind me and then he lovingly kissed the back of my neck. Vi had begun to cry because she was so touched by the emotion and at the same time, she saw that I had begun to cry too, both of us wiping our eyes at the same time. And so a new Rainbows event was born. For me it was the highlight of the week. It is a memory I will always cherish and it has given me a reminder for those days when I miss my son most that he is there standing proudly behind me sending me his love.

Thank you Vi, Doris and Jane for that lovely moment and for the friendships that were strengthened during that week.

Ok, after thinking about it, there are so many wonderful moments from the week, but you aren’t going to let me get away with saying the whole thing was great,

I think the moment that stands out for me was quite early on in the week. We were all sat in the downstairs part of the church and Mike was playing inspired music and leading us on visualization. The music was absolutely beautiful, and the images that began to fill my mind were vivid and alive. At one point I was made aware of a small child standing right in front of me. She has come through in readings that I have had before, so I recognized the child as the daughter I lost in a miscarriage 7 years ago. Feeling her standing there right next to me, holding my hand, whilst I listened to such beautiful music is an experience that will stay with me forever.
