The following was received from Joy after the Birtley 2004 Seminar - Discovering Spirit Potential: 

I just needed to tell you about the wonderful time we all had at the Rainbows End seminar. It was truly magical. From the moment we stepped through the doors on the Monday morning, till the end was an awesome experience. The demonstrations were second to none, the classes were filled with learning and fun, and the love that was shared was awesome. There is so much to say that I don't know where to start. I couldn't pinpoint a favourite moment as it was all so great. But I do have to say that the surprise naming ceremonies were magical.

Vi, Doris, and Jane know how to make you feel so special. On the Tuesday morning, myself, Annette, Alex, and Jacy thought that it was going to be another magical day, but it was even better if that’s possible. We had the honour of receiving our spirit names on that day, and there was not a dry eye in the place. It is a day I will never forget. Vi, Doris and Jane managed to make everyone feel that this seminar was taking place just for them. The amount of evidence that was seen by spirit was also awesome. Spirit worked as hard as the people there to show us that love from spirit is real, and that God loves each and everyone of us. The love and hard work that went into this occasion is truly exceptional. I know I will never forget my experience. I know that there really is magic in this world, these ladies have shown that. I also have to praise the church at Birtley, as they made us feel so at home even thought we invaded their church. If there was one thank you I had to say, it would be to The Great Spirit for giving us all the precious time that was had, and the wonderful people that made it all happen. Thank You.


 

The following was received from Gary shortly after the Birtley Seminar

If anyone was to ask for a highlight of the week it was meeting everyone. Once again the energy that moulds at rainbows end is 'awesome' so there was no doubt in my mind this would be another magical week; all the teachers were brilliant and what I was looking forward to was mediumship and hypnosis with Brian and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My highlight of the week, however,  was the naming service. I know Joy, Alex, Jacy, and Netty pretty well and I was honoured to see them being named. The emotion was so high that spirit must have been crying as well as everyone else. We then had to put our own group service together and I was asked if I could read on the rostrum. Oh the nerves! I was petrified! My knees were shaking but it went brilliantly. Then as fast as it started it was the Friday and I felt uplifted once again. I cant put into words the feeling you get when you go to these seminars but if I were to choose one word it is 'awesome'. What a wonderful church Birtley is and I will return there. Thank you once again VI, Doris and Jane for a wonderful and magical time
